Developing Psychometric Property on the Psychological Capital Scale for Vocational High Schools in Indonesia

Efforts to understand psychological capital (PsyCap) in positive intervention efforts education are believed improve teacher performance. The development of a PsyCap scale vocational is very important because it has not been widely implemented Indonesia. This study aims develop new, valid, and reliable Teachers' Psychological Capital Scale (TPCS) based on psychometric approach uses research development. In all, there nine processes involved the three stages (item development, evaluation) establishing rigorous scale. Data analysis test validity items using structural equation models (SEM) with confirmatory factor (CFA) techniques. TPCS measurement tool consists 24 that describe four dimensions, i.e. self-efficacy, optimism, hope, resilience. subjects were school teachers (N = 300) spread across 10 districts results show model fits significantly data, meaning strong feasibility deviation from existing measurements substantial. Thus, suitable for assessing teachers' more general sense. Further into made easier now scientists practitioners have deeper grasp ontology technique building validation thanks this work.
